West Nile virus illnesses fall in U.S.
The 2009 West Nile virus season in the U.S. was the mildest since 2001, say researchers who also caution that surveillance remains important.

West Nile Virus Found in Newark
Evidence of the West Nile Virus is turning up in Licking County. The Licking County Health Department says after collecting traps of mosquitoes at several locations, it found mosquitoes that tested positive for the virus on Buckeye Avenue in Newark.
