W32.Bugbear.C@mm is a variant of W32.Bugbear@mm, which spreads as an email attachment and steals information from an infected computer.

The malformed email from the worm uses a previously reported Microsoft Internet Explorer vulnerability (CAN-2002-0980) to run a malicious program.

The worm is written in Microsoft Visual C and is packed with UPX.
